Software Engineer - C#

A leading manufacturer and developer of scientific instrumentation, is recruiting a Software Developer with 4+ years of .NET experience to join their team in support of various software projects. Candidates will be responsible for defining intuitive interfaces that are used by a wide variety of customers in the industry. Applicants must possess experience in system architectures that include both software and hardware.

Requirements:

  • Experience with application development using C# and .NET
  • Applicants must be able to work on multiple projects with other programmers and engineers
  • Applicants must be able to test and evaluate software/projects
  • Able to clearly document code and define software requirements
  • Applicants must be able to create and adhere to established programming structures
  • Work history should encompass projects that include Multi-threaded Application development, Object-orientated Design, I/O and device control, WPF, WCF
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required
Pluses:
  • Experience with MFC and C++ libraries, data analysis, and embedded code
  • Understanding of MVVM and MVC patterns
  • Technical support experience
  • Basic understanding of analytical chemistry or mechanical engineering or electronic circuits

Electronics Production Technician

General Position Description
An international leader in scientific instrumentation is looking for a team member who prides themselves on excellence, ambition and accuracy with details to fill a new position on our Production/Assembly Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Electronic and small parts assembly
  • Build components based on circuit diagram specifications and bill of materials
  • Manufacture subassemblies to be used with larger systems
  • Perform quality control to verify components are within a specified tolerance
  • Maintain inventory
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms as required
  • Cross-training in other production areas
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Electrical wiring experience
  • Experienced in surface mount soldering
  • Must be able to read and understand detailed circuit diagram and written specifications
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Requires multitasking, organizational, prioritizing and detail-oriented skills
  • Possess strong computer skills; Microsoft Office experience a plus

Chemist – Semiconductor

Elemental Scientific, Inc. is looking to fill one Chemist – Semiconductor position in Omaha, Nebraska. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field and ability to communicate (verbally and in written form) in English and Korean required. Must also have familiarity with ultratrace metals analysis and understanding of laboratory testing methods.

Job duties include the following:

  • Position is generally responsible for conducting ICPMS analysis of various semiconductor chemicals as well as providing applications support for ICMPS analysis of semiconductor chemicals.
  • Develop applications testing methods to determine trace metal impurities in inorganic and organic compounds for semiconductor process chemicals.
  • Perform translations of such applications testing methods for Korean ICPMS users.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, including ICPMS and ICP instrumentation.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and logs, tracks and processes samples.
  • Review or analyzing test results in order to locate inconsistencies or malfunctions.
  • Maintain supply of standard reagents and solutions.
  • Repair, maintain, and calibrate ICPMS automated sample introduction systems.
  • Translate application notes, reference materials, and similar guides for Korean ICPMS users.
  • Provide U.S. based support for applications development for Korean ICPMS users (verbal and written communications).
  • May require domestic and/or international travel, up to 20% of time.
